FROM THE CONSTABLE'S NOTEBOOK, 31 OCTOBER. Hollow's End lights its lanterns at dusk and takes them down at midnight, and in between it agrees not to ask who anybody is. That arrangement has held for three hundred years. Tonight it is going to cost somebody, and the only honest record of the evening is the one you build.
