Support

Verdict is made by Endpaper Labs LLC. A person reads every message.

Email us

The fastest way to reach us is email: hello@endpaperlabs.com. We answer in the order messages arrive, usually within two business days. There is no ticket portal and no chatbot — you get a reply from the person who builds the game.

Reporting a bug

Send it to hello@endpaperlabs.com with as much of this as you can. Anything missing just means we have to write back and ask:

  • Where you were playing — verdictpuzzle.com in a browser, or the iOS/Android app.
  • The case: its date and difficulty (Easy, Medium, Hard, or the Cold Case).
  • What you did, what you expected, and what happened instead.
  • Your device and version — in the app, Settings shows the version and build at the bottom of the screen. On the web, your browser and OS.
  • A screenshot, if you have one. It usually saves a round trip.

If a case looks unsolvable, tell us its date and difficulty. Every Verdict case is generated with exactly one solution, reachable by deduction alone — if one ever isn't, that is a real bug and we want the case number.

Billing, cancelling, and refunds

Where you bought Verdict Pro decides where you manage it. We can't cancel a store subscription for you — Apple and Google don't allow it.

  • Bought on the web (through this site): sign in on the pricing page and use Manage subscription. That opens the Stripe billing portal, where you can change your card, download invoices, or cancel.
  • Bought in the iOS app: iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Verdict. Refunds go through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
  • Bought in the Android app: Google Play Store → Payments & subscriptionsSubscriptions → Verdict. Play handles refunds for purchases made there.

Cancelling stops the next renewal — Pro stays open for the rest of the period you have already paid for. Your streak and solve history stay yours either way. For a web purchase you think was charged in error, email us with the receipt and we'll sort it out.

“I paid, but Pro isn't showing”

  • In the app: Settings → Restore purchases. That re-reads your App Store or Google Play account and re-applies the subscription.
  • On the web:make sure you're signed in with the same email you used at checkout. Pro follows the account, not the browser.
  • Bought in the app and signed in on the web with a different email? Email us both addresses and we'll merge the entitlement.

Still nothing after a restore? Send us the store receipt (Apple emails one; Play shows it under Payments & subscriptions) and we'll fix it by hand.

My streak disappeared

On the web without an account, your progress and streak live only in your browser. Clearing site data, playing in private browsing, or switching devices loses them — they never reached our servers, so there is nothing for us to restore. Creating a free account is what makes a streak survive a cleared browser or a new phone.

If you aresigned in and a solve didn't count, email us the date and difficulty of the case and roughly when you solved it. That we can look up.

Accounts and data

To delete your account and everything attached to it, see deleting your account — it takes two taps in the app, or one email. What we collect and why is in the privacy policy; the rules of the road are in the terms. No ads, no third-party tracking SDKs, no data selling.

Anything else

Feature requests, a theme you'd like to see, a typo in a case, or an accessibility problem — all of it goes to the same place: hello@endpaperlabs.com. Accessibility reports get answered first.
